Tetra Tech Acquires Convergence Controls

Tetra Tech, a publicly traded consulting and engineering services provider with offices in Jeffco, has grown its digital water and energy practices via the purchase of industry leader Convergence Controls & Engineering. Convergence specializes in process automation, systems integration solutions, advanced data analytics, cloud data integration, and cybersecurity applications.

The acquisition will enhance Tetra Tech’s existing suite of technologies and domain expertise for integrated automation platforms. This will further support the provision of real-time data visualization, data analytics, and decision-making assistance for clients, said Tetra Tech Chairman and CEO Dan Batrack.

Convergence CEO and Co-founder Sandy Crow expressed enthusiasm about joining Tetra Tech. The merger will enable Convergence to offer clients a comprehensive portfolio of innovative, data-driven solutions. Furthermore, it provides opportunities for sharing knowledge, expanding reach and fostering growth among employees.

The details of the acquisition were not released. Convergence will become part of Tetra Tech’s Government Services Group.
